Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Mixed Metallic Challenge

Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop...a super fun hop where I'm lucky to get to work with some fancy friends...who also happen to be past or current Stampin' Up! Artisans!  Each month we hop with a new challenge...and this month's Mixed Metallic Challenge is all about being inspired by the Year of Cheer Suite!

You can read more about the Year of Cheer Suite HERE, and I hope you'll check it out...but first...check out my Fancy Friday challenge project!

Seriously...I don't even know where to start talking about this challenge...there's so much to be inspired by in the Year of Cheer Suite!  But I gotta start somewhere...so let's begin with the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP.  I thought this classic, foil designed paper would be perfect for the matchbook New Year's Eve party favors I wanted to make...and oh my goodness..they were So EASY to  make!  I simply cut several 8-1/2" x 3" pieces and  scored and folded them at 3-1/2"; 3-3/4" and 7-3/4".  Truly...that's it.  I then added the Foil Snowflakes...and wrapped it with Linen Thread.  To top it off I grabbed some fun new products from the soon-to-be-released Sale-a-Bration brochure and added sentiments...the heat embossed let's and die cut celebrate in varied foil sheets, including Champagne Foil Sheets from our inspiration suite.  I think my favorite part of these little favors is the fun combination of classic and rustic elements.

Thank you so much for stopping by for the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!  I hope you're inspired to create something fabulous with the Year of Cheer Suite...and I'd LOVE to see it!  So...post it, using #fancyfridaybloghop when you share it...and let me or one of my fancy friends know!

And now...hop over to my see what my talented, fancy friend Rochelle has to share!

Have an amazing day!
